Discover Karamoja
Karamoja is one of Uganda’s hidden gems, offering a unique blend of culture and wildlife adventures yet to be fully explored. Located in the far northeastern part of Uganda, Karamoja includes the districts of Kaabong, Kotido, and Moroto. This vibrant region boasts diverse landscapes, abundant wildlife, and a rich cultural heritage. It is home to two prominent wildlife reserves: Kidepo Valley National Park and Pian Upe Wildlife Reserve, situated in the southern part of Karamoja. Pian Upe is renowned for its rare species such as the Roan Antelope, Topis, Gazelles, Hartebeest, and Eland, while Kidepo Valley National Park is famous for its spectacular scenery and diverse wildlife. Notably, CNN has listed Kidepo Valley as the third-best wildlife safari park in Africa.
