  Mgahinga is about 540 kilometers from Kampala, a scenic 8-10 hour drive through picturesque villages and the rolling Kigezi Hills. From Rwanda, Kisoro is just 2-3 hours away, depending on road conditions.
• Border Crossing:
  If traveling from Rwanda, ensure you have the necessary travel documents and visas for both countries when crossing at Cyanika or Gatuna. Check with embassies or consulates for the latest visa requirements.
